The chosen option was to spray Rhino Linings HardLine protective coating onto the hull. Durabak makes a similar product but it is used on the decking and not outside the hull. Generally as a rule if you do something that knocks a rivet loose or it loosens enough naturally over time its just cracks the rhino liner around the rivet head and leaks anyway.
